About the Exhibition
For ZKM’s 30th anniversary, Writing the History of the Future showed the media art collection on over 6,000 square meters with more than 500 objects, from photography to interactive installations in all media formats. The exhibition ran from 2019 to 2022.
My Role
As part of the four-person technical project lead, I coordinated the installation and operation of all technical systems across the entire exhibition space. This included planning, setup, and ongoing maintenance during the three-year run. This is also where I first used LiDAR for contactless interaction: the single-sensor system I developed during the COVID pandemic in 2020, so visitors could interact with audio-based artworks without touch or headphones.
