About the Project
Good Boy! is a performative intervention by artist Tina Lorenz that critically examines the militarization of robotics, specifically the use of robot dogs by police forces. The context: Baden-Württemberg police acquired robot dogs in 2023, blurring the boundaries between tool and autonomous actor in law enforcement. The work uses a Unitree Go2 robot dog in a performance setting, exploring this tension between utility and autonomy.
